BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (Business Wire EON) April 7, 2008 -- "Who's Good Looking?" is a clever relationship comedy that exposes aesthetic obsession: Narcous (Warren Pereira) questions his fiance's (Katie O' Grady) notions of beauty. A sarcastic simmer boils over as the couple storms through a skincare boutique. The film is hilarious, beautifully choreographed, and shot in a single moving master by Emmy Award-winning cinematographer Jeff Streich.

Portland reviewer Dylan de Thomas commented that Pereira's films are "...known for being witty and urbane, a mix between the dialogue of Woody Allen's 70's relationship comedies with the slinky camera work and exacting blocking of a Brian De Palma or Paul Thomas Anderson."

"Who's Good Looking?" premiered at the Santa Monica Vine Short Film Festival in November 2007 and has since screened at the 2007 Beverly Hills Hi-Def Film Festival and the 2008 Portland International Film Festival.

The film is written, directed and produced by Warren Pereira. Director of photography is Jeff Streich; Starring Warren Pereira, Katie O' Grady, Greg Skelton, Haley Talbot and Payam Karamooz. Official Website: www.wfilms.biz.

Most recently Pereira wrapped on another short film "Lovely Coffee": a romantic comedy that satirizes a group of cocky but untalented filmmakers and actors starring Los Angeles actress Amanda Hastings.

Currently Pereira is in postproduction on an episodic dark comedy about breast implants shot in Portland's trendy Pearl District. The film, entitled "Salt and Silicone," features Portland actors Katie O' Grady and Ethan Atkinson, and Los Angeles actress Rachel Myers.
