A new improvement known as the "no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomy" has just been introduced. Using this technique, men can avoid the needle used to inject the local anesthetic, making the procedure "pain-free." "This procedure is ideal for men who want to avoid a needle. The reverse vasectomy procedure can also be performed in the Center's state-of-the-art facility, and Dr. Werthman only performs one reversal per day. This allows the patient individual attention. While general anesthesia is used, the procedure is "day surgery," in which the patient arrives in the morning and leaves the Center about an hour after the procedure. In 2005, Dr. Werthman introduced a new anesthesia irrigation technique that allows the patient to wake up from surgery pain-free.
