Known as the Southeast Comprehensive Health Center, the 143,200 square foot Hubert H. Humphrey Health Center is a satellite of the King-Drew Medical Center. The center consists of radiology and pediatric units, 68 examination rooms, a 30-bed emergency care unit, a 60,000 square foot mental health clinic, child care facility, and a community auditorium. The design provided a prototype which was later emulated by other traditional medical centers.
